I guess I did deserve that, shouldn't have left series 2 when I did, but I had my reasons. Anyway, gonna try again, Series 3, different ideas, some different characters, some characters featuring less than they did etc. One of the major factors of the hiatus was that due to a shit laptop, it took up to 5 hours to produce a single strip, 90% of which was the colouring, so whilst drawing the comic was still fun, knowing I had to stare at it for hours whilst colouring was soul crushing. Hence, now I am using pens (Letraset ProMarkers, to be precise) which makes colouring a pleasure, and only take about 15 mins to get a level of shading better than that which the computer gave me. TL;DR : Fuck the machines! |
